Drayage is the short haul that takes your container from the port or rail ramp to its next stop. It is also where delays and detention charges build up when a carrier doesn't have equipment ready. Rolls Right is an asset-based trucking company with its own chassis and tractors, so we control the move from start to finish.
We pull containers from the Port of Vancouver and deliver them to your distribution centre, warehouse or cross-dock, on schedule and GPS-tracked, with 24/7 dispatch.
Containers off the Port of Vancouver and the rail ramps
Drayage runs off the Port of Vancouver terminals on our own chassis, into our East Broadway dock or straight through to your door.
Containers that need stripping are de-stuffed at Broadway and the freight leaves palletized, same day where the flow allows. Calgary handles receiving, cross-dock and container de-stuffing on its own floor, and containers reach it by daily drayage off the CN and CPKC ramps.
Bonded, duty-deferred storage is available on one agreement with Rolls Right, arranged through our Vancouver operation.
