Temperature-controlled (reefer) shipping keeps freight inside a set temperature range from pickup to delivery. As an asset-based trucking and warehousing company, we run our own refrigerated trucks and trailers for fresh food, beverages, pharmaceuticals and other temperature-sensitive products.
Each unit has modern refrigeration and real-time temperature monitoring. Drivers are trained to handle perishable and cold-chain goods, and 24/7 dispatch and GPS cover every load.
Reefer capacity in BC and Alberta
We own our refrigerated trucks and run them out of Vancouver and Calgary. Chilled and frozen both, and we move product as well as store it.
Cold storage runs at Rolls Right Cold Storage in Vancouver, dedicated capacity we control, HACCP certified and food grade. The Vancouver and Calgary warehouse floors are ambient, so temperature work goes to the cold site rather than onto a dry floor.
Reefer loads cross between the two hubs six days a week, and reach the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and the rest of British Columbia from the Vancouver side. Tell us the temperature band before we quote, because chilled and frozen do not price the same.
